Just wanted to post my solution to replacing the door lock cylinder cam on my tbird.
The cam is plastic and it's not a very strong design. It also isn't being produced any more, so finding a replacement one wasn't easy. I found an original one on eBay. But I also decided to order one from an mn12 tbird. In comparison, the mn12 is roughly the same size but looks like a stronger design. So I used it. It's working just fine.
Another option I didn't look into for this part is from a Taurus. These are easily found on eBay.
