Anyone ever adjust their door hinges? I have issues with the doors making a rubbing noise going over small bumps. I had that with an 88 back in the day and can't remember what I did to fix it. One thing that drives me nuts is stupid little noises. Also the factory sun roof makes a rattling noise when closed. Thanks for any help.

Well for the doors, at least, is could be a worn bushing on the striker bolt, which is easily fixable with a trip to any auto parts store. They have the bolt/bushing combo in the HELP! section. Or your hinges could be worn out. Here is an article on fixing that issue:

Open the door and grab the open end. Try to lift the door up. If it moves more than a fraction of an inch, the hinge pins are worn.
If the striker is damaged, etc, and you can't find the Dorman assy in the Help section at the parts store, Rockauto has them for around $8 each.

It almost seems like the doors don't close tight. When the doors are closed I can push it in further with my knee. It's almost like it doesn't come in far enough causing the door to make noise over small bumps at low speeds.

I think I'll try new hinge pins. There does seem to be a little slop in them.
