Differences between 86 and 87 TC's

I currently have an 87 Turbo Coupe. I may be buying a parts car - An 86 Turbo coupe. Other than the body style, are there huge differences mechanically, or are 86 and 87 TC parts pretty much interchangeable? The parts car has some aftermarket goodies like exhaust, short shifter, front mount intercooler, etc.

Assuming both are stock -

87 has ride control, 86 doesn't / 86 has a T3 vice IHI / 87 has the nostrils and better hood hinges / 86 has small vam and PC1, 87 has large vam and LA series / 86 has 7.5 rear with drum brakes and 15 inch wheels vice 8.8 rear with ABS disks and 16 inch wheels / 86 has E3 manifold, 87 has E6 / 86 has single radiator fan controlled by a relay that always burns out under the glove box vice dual fans controlled by the IRCM / 86 is better looking / 87 has shorter center console / 86 boost gauge doesn't include ride control light, and goes to 24 vice 18. / 86 fog lights are Marchal, 87 are Hella. / 86 uses dual v-belts to drive alternator, PS pump, etc. / 86 power steering pump doesn't have separate resevoir / 86 uses an external voltage regulator / 86 were all single exhaust / 86 has 18 gal tank vice 22 / Trunk lock setup is slightly different / I think the 87 has bigger front brakes, but others with more knowledge than I will have to answer that one.

Hope this helps

Edit - wrong year on power steering resevoir info corrected.

Thanks for the information!

Yes - I just looked at the car - Light blue with black 10-holes. I bought it. It was a little rougher than I was expecting, but it has a lot of usable parts.

Yep...That's the one. Let me know if you need any parts off of it. I am going to strip it down this week hopefully. I'm not sure what parts I should keep besides the obvious parts I can use on my '87.
