So after 2 years of having crappy front brakes...warped rotors..sticking calipers it was time to stop. I did it with fox body rotors (because nobody has TC rotors and my abs doesnt work), stock Napa remanned calipers, fox body hoses, Napa pads. I also did rear pads for good measure.

So I went from a pedal that grabbed high but also stopped terrible and had a pretty aggressive vibration from the rotors. To a almost too easy pedal and grabs half way/closer to the bottom. I bleed all 4 corners but im wondering if I need to rebleed them. I don't really know what a spongy pedal feels like so its hard to tell. It almost feels like if I do a mini pump of the brakes before I go to stop for real it grabs higher/better.

The only other thing that was iffy was on the rears when I went to turn them in it was basically impossible without cracking the bleeders. Im not sure if that's normal or what with the electric brake booster. My key was off at the time. I bleed them by clicking on the key and pushing the pedal down not pumping.

I'm not an expert on it but there is something different to doing it. Check this article:

Pete is correct.... follow the specific procedure for bleeding the rears with the ABS pump.

If your abs isn't working, you are driving a very dangerous ride. I would make sure the hydraulic pump is working or change to vacuum assisted brakes

The ABS is pretty much separate from the regular braking system and as long as the regular braking system is working properly, everything is normal except that the ABS won't kick in if you lock up the tire(s) while braking. The hydraulic pump is for the regular braking system and is not controlled by the ABS system.

When I got my TC years ago, I drive it for a few months with no ABS with no problems until I got around to fixing the ABS.

My pump is currently working however I would like to ditch it for vacuum one day. Just need a parts list of stuff I would need to do it. I've had this car for around 2 years, drove it the entire winter with no ABS. I did okay and never had a desire to spend the time/money to get the ABS going again. Maybe if it was a more common ABS setup that wouldn't cost alot to get going.

I might bleed the rears again soon just to be safe. So its been pretty good. Granted I would like to do bigger brakes all around but the budget aint having brembos right now.
