After serious deliberation, we have decided to postpone the Dayton, Ohio get together slated for ths Sunday. The weather forecast was the major reason in that they are predicting large amounts of rain, gusty winds, and possible hail. No sense in tempting fate in an outdoor setting so we are currently looking at an alternative date in October. I'll post the date when we decide on it.
Thanks,
Gary S

Gary,
Keith and I agree that this weekend is going to be terrible weather wise.
It would be great if we could have it sooner than later due to the same reason, in addition, with football season in full swing, is it possible to consider a Saturday?

I'm looking at a couple of dates in the near future. I have to see what I can work out at work since I am on call every other weekend but maybe I can get someone to cover for me. Saturday is a possibility but I don't know how many others that normally come to the event work on a Saturday. I'll have to get some feedback on that one.
Tentative Dates:
Sunday, October 8
Saturday, October 14
Sunday, October 15

Well, egg on my face........ Don't know what the weather will bring this afternoon but right now it's sun shining, the sky is blue, and great temperatures.

Well, regardless of the date I'm going to have to be out. I am not putting any more time or $$ into the engine that is in the car now, and it's just not feasible for me to have it ready to make the trip in the next couple weeks. Sucks as I was looking forward to it. Always next year though.
Just a teaser of the car though....I limped it out for a couple pics to send to a guy who is doing a calendar.

I'll keep you in the Eastwood Mailing List so that you'll get an email about next year's event. Hope all your plans go well with the car. Do I detect an engine swap in the future?
Thanks,

To avoid clogging this thread up I'll start another when I get a free moment. It's not an original "TC" though....just looks like one
