Dash Repair

I think I know the answer to this one, but will ask anyway :

Has anyone tried the Permatex dash repair kit (about $8 in the parts stores)? Do the results look good/subtle/slightly notcieable or does it look like a crappy repaired dash? [Image: wink.gif]

Also, will ask about Plan B - has anyone tried the the $100 dashtops overlay ? how's the fit?

Somewhere I have a magazine article about the overlays. They said they worked very well, but were not for a 'concours restoration'. They used on some kind of full size (B-body) Mopar - from the B&W photos, I could not tell if it looked like a 95% perfect solution.

Thanks,

Jeff

I have a Dash Cap installed on mine. Well worth the investment.

In the upcoming Newsletter (I know...I know...upcoming...but it should be done in the next 7-10 days !) there will be an article about my installation.
