dash pad covers

Watching truck tech, they featured dash pad covers from rockauto, so I figured out of curiosity, I'd see if they have them for our cars. Sure enough, THEY DO. They sell them made of different materials, including abs plastic (which is more than the fabric versions). Even the abs plastic cover isn't too badly priced (less than dashcap.com, which B turned me on to). They're listed under accessories and come in a small variety of colors. The cheaest is under 30 and the abs is under 110. Just figured I'd share the info, just in case everyone else overlooked it on ra's site, like I always have.

Got one years back,...yes it is really nice. Though mine isn't the same shade of blue as the interior but I can't remember if that was my fault for not ordering the correct shade...or theirs for sending the wrong one. IDK...but it's still nice to not have to stare at the cracks while going down the highway.

Did you get the hard cap? How well does it fit and how's it holding up?

My hard dash cap has held up perfectly for 13 years. The car is, however, garaged when it isn't being driven.

got the hard cap. Pics are in another dash cap thread. Its holding up great! It does have some high/low spots but I'm not sure why as I sanded the old dash and flattened the surface as per the instructions. Its still looking really nice though.
