I've used it for spot cleaning plastic and vinyl several times when I want something to adhere to it - paint, velcro.

Give me that Kingsford edge anytime

Orangeman Do yourself a favor and find some SEME Plastic sealer and spray this on your dash after you clean it with Prep-Sol. Plastic is a petrolem base and if you don't want to paint every few years after it cracks you have to seal it. Tried changing interior colors on several different cars and a plastic sealer is the only way to go. And if by chance you are gonna spray this dash with a gun, spray some adhesive promoter on this after sealing it.
