OK, I got the car on the road again with all the new parts, including a PST front end kit, KYB's, and the custom springs from coilsprings.com. Here's the deal: I ordered them 1.5 inches lower, and 20% stiffer, and the tires (245/50-16) do not rub, but the ride is a little harsher than I had wanted. I feel a little ricey when I hit a few bumps, as the car will bounce some. But, the car is as flat as a pancake in the corners, and it looks alot better. Also, at the alignment shop, the camber #'s are at the bottom of the allowable range, so no $199 adjustable camber plates required. So....If you are looking at lowering your ride, it is an option that does not require you to try them and see how much you 'think' you should cut to get the desired height. Cost was $110 a pair, I think.
