Today I went and picked up a turbo off a svo mustang and I cant really tell what has been done to it. The intake side is shown as 60 AR, and the exhaust shows 48 AR. The outlet of the intake side looks off to me, I'm not sure if its been modified, or corroded.

The second question is about the 87 i picked up. I put a new fuel pump, battery and cables in it and it fired up drives around just fine. The problem i am seeing is that it is dramatically down on power compared to my 88'. I plan on checking the ignition, and its timing at some point. I know just about the entire system has been replaced, so it wouldn't surprise me if the timing wasn't set properly. the car seems to be limiting boost at various times. The gauge lights don't work so I didn't get a very good test drive in. I would also like to comment that one of these cars with no exhaust sounds really, really obnoxious.
Thanks for any help
