searched but no luck

should the lights shine even+backwards or even+forward

had the car painted in1997 and ever sense they shine backwards but i don`t remeber befor.

Forwards - they are to help you see around the corner. They're installed upside down, my painter did the same thing two years ago. Fixed now, though. HTH.

could they be on the wrong side or just upside down?

On the backside, the light socket should be on top towards the rear. Looking at them from the front side, the Ford Oval will be towards the front of the car.

Even better, they say "top" or "up" somewhere IIRC, it's been a while.

I don't think you can put them on the wrong side but I've been wrong before, it's not something I really looked at closely.
