The 140 speedo and the rear spoiler were not part of the Mach 1 package from the factory. Definitely a nice looking car.

Oh my... just look at those headlights!

I kinda like the wing, too. Anyone know where a guy could get one?

Would one of you more informed members tell me what a Mach1 Turbo Coupe had that was different than other TCs?

The Mach 1s were a late-model year 88 paint (and sticker) package from Ford for the Southeast regional market. Essentially they tested out the red (a bright red, "vermillion red") and a silver blue ("titanium frost") that were used in future Mustang and Thunderbird models. I had a silver blue one, basically a metallic bluish-silver, but the stickers were long gone. Pretty colors.
1988 TurboCoupe 5spd, 160K miles, original condition, silver with dark blue interior. Beautiful and fun car.
1966 Mustang A-Code, 446K miles on chassis, 100K on carbed 5.0L, T5Z, in family since new.
Born in a 1955 Ford, I bleed Ford blue.
