Concerned about new injectors...

From what I can tell RockAuto offers practically nothing as far as human contact. I guess that's how they keep prices low.
I did email standard motor products. Their generic "will get back to you email" had a 1-800 number at the bottom which I called. It really is a little bizarre in my books. You're calling this big company, and some guy who's in a shop somewhere with so much hammering and machine noise in the background you can't even hardly hear him answers. Which is I guess what I'd prefer rather than some guy sitting in front of a computer! Anyways I told him exactly what's going on, he says I have nothing to worry about at all. He said if I didn't get the right part that's a concern. If I've got four of the same injectors it doesn't matter when or where they came from. If they're standard motor products fuel injectors made for my car I'm good to go according to him.

So I guess the question is, are these all the same standard products injectors as they all seem to have different part numbers. I would be concerned if these have different flow rates or impedance levels based on the different numbers on them.

I can't believe I forgot to ask that question. Like I said it sounded like he was working in a busy shop. He was practically yelling over the noise. Completely forgot to mention how each one has a different number on them. I wish I had another set of injectors I could look at, see if they all have different numbers on them

If you can swing it, a new set of Standard Products FJ20's is going to run you like $150 at RA. If I were in your shoes, that is the route I would go. If not, maybe try ohm'ing out the injectors to see if they match but even that I 'm not sure if it would tell you their impedance, but you may not know if they are the same flow rates. Let us know what you end up doing either way.

I think I must have said something that has caused some confusion so I'm going to try again.
These four brand new in box injectors that I have, they are all standard motor products FJ20s purchased from RockAuto.
I bought them all at the same time same order. But I also got some other parts. Some of the stuff came in one parcel, some of the stuff came in a second one. I guess they didn't have everything at the same warehouse. Unfortunately, two of the injectors came from one warehouse, the others from another. Wouldn't have even batted an eye if it weren't for the differences previously mentioned. They look identical to each other.
They all test at 2.2 ohm

They may indeed all be the same... It is hard to see from your photo what any physical differences are between the two different part numbered injectors. I would email standard motor products regarding this to determine if they are all the same and whether they should be used as a set.

Here's a better picture. It's a picture I took for standard motor products if they get back to me by email. Look at the crud around the bottom! You can wipe it off, I don't even know what it is.
These are pretty squeaky clean otherwise, I don't think these have been installed in someone's car or something like that. I don't know what's going on here.
If I wasn't aware of the differences already noted and you took the blue caps off and mix them up and handed them back to me I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference. There are a few cosmetic differences that I notice, nothing else.

Hey Rob, could you post a pic of all four lined up like the above pic, or you can verify that the numbers shown above match across all four. If those numbers match, I would agree they are the same injector. I think the confusion came from your initial post showing different numbers stamped on them.

They sure look the same in that pic, after seeing that, I think you're good to go
