At a lost. As far as I can tell all wiring is correct and I have fuel and spark and still no fire. I am out of ideas. Any help please.

so basically the engine, sensors, harness, and computer are all 88, right?

does that include the ircm?

if the fuel pump runs key-on, and you have fuel pressure, and you can verify spark via timing light, that narrows it down a bit.

maybe check cam timing and clock the dizzy then check the following if you haven't already -->
is vam voltage ok? is tps voltage ok? do you have voltage at the injectors?

it wants to run, just needs the right input to get the right output Smile

IRCM - Integrated Relay Control Module. On an 88 its mounted to the pass. Strut tower and if my memory is serving me correctly will have a big J on it.

Even if you have big injectors and big VAM and 83 computer....the car would start...just not run the best...

I would suspect your problem is else where....sorry.

Travis

Also regarding the computers...only the 87-88 TC auto computers really had any control on the transmission... So unless you have the A4LD...no big worries.
