Well...the new motor is just about together and I'm about ready to rip the old one out and get the old bird ready. Anyone got any specific recommendations as to how to make the engine compartment look really nice? I mean i know to paint but what paints work on which parts and stuff? That kinda specifics. Also, I'm thinking of mounting my 7" k&n in the well and am wondering if anyone has done one that big before? I have a hose that puts the first couple inches in the well now and it works better that with it straight off the air meter (its at a 90 deg angle now). Just a few questions cuz I wanna do this once and RIGHT. Thanks in advance.

I saw some inner fender aprons for a mustang in a mag a while ago-not sure if they fit the Birds, it laid over the inner fenders to cover all the holes! Looked very clean!! The downside is gotta be trying to find the holes ya need! I used the Moroso 5.0 mustang fresh air filter kit that mounts the filter outside the fender(kinda major modifaction though) Good luck, is your motor gonna be as bitchin as Dan's?

Will my motor be as bitchin as dans? Why do you have to spoil everything....? LOL.

Well, that all depends on how well everything goes. It'll be fast for damn sure tho. I'll post with all the exact specs a little later once i'm sure they're all right.
