I found a quadrant that fits my 83 using the oem cable. It's from Fotes, cost about $50 plus shipping. You get an alum quadrant, alum spacer and a fire wall adjuster. You take off the oem rubber bushing at the firewall to make the new adjuster work. No cutting or drilling or splicing, just the usual PITA under the stearing wheel. Fortes phone is (508) 875-0016. It is not a 5.o piece.
83 dead bird, in pieces however I'm reading from the book of the dead, should be running soon.
