Cluster replacement

Hi

I just picked up a 140MPH speedo cluster for my Stang LX turbo.

I have heard that the tach will not read correctly but the rest of the gauges should be fine. Is that true? If that is the case I guess the best approach would be to open the cluster and swap speedos right?

Yea...It's not too difficult to swap them out. I did it when I had my 87...Just make sure your hands are clean & dry. You don't want any oily fingerprints on it. Also, be careful not to move the needles when you swap them out. Good Luck
