A new problem developed recently and my heater seems to work for a short time then blows cold air until the temp is set up to 90*, then will only blow hot there, not even 85* will blow hot.
Hold down the auto and defrost buttons, hit the AC within 2 seconds and get an 88 code. IE nothing wrong? I believe something is telling it that it has reached the desired temp?? And 90* is max so it just thinks you want to blow max heat by default?
The heater does work but, sucks having to turn it on and off or adjust fan speed to keep from freezing or sweating...
I have not played with this system in the ten years I've wrenched on my two 88 TC's, so any insight here would be very helpful.
