Is there a way to make this plastic tank white again?
1986 Turbo Coupe. Boport StageIII head, Boport 2.1, Performance Techniques 50 trim hybird, StageII.63, stinger 3" exhaust, Phenolic spacer, Boglog header,NPR FMIC intercooler setup, kirban fpr, bigrmotorsports fuel rail, diablo water meth kit, CAI, remote mount TFI, CHE rear adj control arms, MAC girdle, 8.8 rear disc, aluminum drive shaft, H&R lowerings springs Tbird Turbo Specific, y MAS!!

Try plastic polish or maybe rubbing compound
86tc 5speed k&n, gfb boost controller, autometer gauges, tripminder, fmic, and upgrading as fast as possible

Chances are, it's dirty on the inside. Undo the feed to the radiator, and power wash the indside, and also the outside. This worked on mine. The plastic absorbs alot of oxidiation from the coolant over a 20 year period. Mine did not come up bright white, but it looks quite nice.

I find it amusing when I see posts on how to make 20 yr old plastic look new.Bottom line:replace it.I've seen NOS on E-Bay before.Though you could try soaking it in a bucket of bleach. My 2c.

I never tried this so use at your own risk. Try Westley Bleech White tire cleaner. It cleans a lot of things

I have never seen an NOS one on evilbay EVER, so I would like to make the one I have look at least OK.

Here is a NEW stock coolant tank for 86 and up.

There might be cheaper ones out there, just do a search.

i used a hot high pressure power washer we use soemtimes at my shop, came out pretty good, still a bit yellow but SO MUCH cleaner! i cleaned the put side with sprat nine
