Well it is not a burnt out lighter part, checked that. I wanted to just put in a plug n play CD playewr for my car. But I need to use batteries as my lighter isn't working. I wanted to know how to get in their and make sure nothing is unplugged. I already checked fuses and made sure it wasn't burned out lighter part. What else could it be except a disconnected wire? Anyways, if anyone has any information on this please get at me.

Pull out your cig lighter (you just hve to unscrew the senter stac trim panel amd tje cig lkgiterr/sustemcenmtry mofulr) and hook it up to a test ligh\t. Both wires at the cig ligher should read 12+volts. If not, check the fuses aain. If it's 12v, make sure your ligthr adapter is working. if not, replace yor cig lighter and tru aain.
