That's how I lowered mine. Well - cutting the springs and removing the isolators. Some like it - some don't. The ride will be stiffer. My advice, if you are going to do it, would be to cut a little at a time until it gets where you want it. Better to have to make multiple cuts than cut too much off.

I simply used SN-95 springs and mine sits like yours.

For the front I cut 5/8 of a coil off the springs
For the rear I installed rear springs from a 96 mustang gt vert
Replaced the struts n shocks with foxbody units and my car handles like it's on rails

Cut some sn95's on my 88tc with no isolators which can give me a little spring noise when its really cold i've noticed. I cut IIRC 1/2 a coil off.

I also ran semi used Tokicos shocks/struts meant for a SN95 which was a bad idea. Turns out the SN95s struts are slightly longer than fox springs and not to mention they couldn't hold up being on a lowered car. I blew out the Tokicos in a matter of months. Moral of the story buy Fox Koni Yellows once if you lower your bird. When my money tree grows ill be buying a set.

Update: the money tree never grew so I ran some cheapo monro shocks for a Fox body..

I also found my MM struts were not installed correctly so that added to my crappy ride. It was basically bottoming out the strut all the time. It should also be noted I cut SN95s slightly and did not run a isolator. I feel that this was a mistake so I put isolators back in. These gave me enough lift to make it more driveable.

Stock SN on the left...cut SN on the right

wow, really digging the stance of your car...so that combo is OEM SN95 springs (1/2 coil cut front/rear) and fox-specific struts? did you need isolators or adapters for the springs?
