If you're talking a stock internal 2.3 then I wouldn't go above 400rwhp for very long. You sure don't want to rev it very hard(over stock rev limiter) at that power range. Not to mention the stock tranny is not going to like that much power. Brakes should be upgraded if you plan on using that kind of power on the street. Suspension should be upgraded for street use also. Then there is also all that chassis work too.

What is you mods list to allow you to reach your goal. It is going to get ugly expensive.

------------------
mods: SDS Digital Fuel Injection, ported & polished big valve head(1.89/1.59), Solid lifters, Esslinger roller cam #2277, Esslinger adj. cam pulley, custom upper and ported lower intakes, 60-1 stage III .63 turbo, powerstroke intercooler, 60mm throttle body, 75pph injectors, Walboro 255HP pump, Kirban adj. fuel reg., ATR header, 3" exhaust with Dynomax Ultraflow muffler, MSD 6al, MSD coil, MSD Launch Control, MSD 8.5mm wires, K&N filter, Spec stage III clutch, Greddy Profec B boost controller, Weld Draglites with M/T ET Street 26x11.5/15
NO TC and NO headaches.

Esslinger head, engle 111, cam gear, header, external wastegate, injectors, ported upper and lower, 65mm throttle body, msd 6, msd 2 step, eec tuner or better, i havent decided on the turbo yet, i was going to get all new suspention, do a 5 lug conversion with cobra r's, 275s in the back, posi rear, and a big intercooler, bov, and 13 in brakes in the front.

I think i leaning toward the 2.3, just because i cant go too too big for drivability reasons. This should be plenty of power to play with.
