Ive been digging around for an hour or so on the net, trying to find a 3/8" check valve. I know the minivans had the one for the brake booster, but i havnt had much luck finding one. Does anyone know of a suitable replacement?

There is a plubming valve called a Brady valve that is available in plumbing departments like at Lowes or Home Depot. A couple people have used these as check valves in a BOV/BPV circuit. Don't know if it would work for your application or not. They do come in different diameters but I'm not sure if they have 3/8"

See this thread from 2002. The links don't work.

The help! section of auto stores usually have generic check valves of varying sizes also.

I checked out the help section, and all they had was one for vacume hose, and a few for brake boosters.

I found a few plastic ones on the net, but id much prefer a metal one, there isnt going to be much pressure, since its for my PCV system im planning on trying out, but i still dont want to chance it.

next time you're in the junkyard...go to any honda car and look by the brake booster, inline there will be a 3/8 check valve. I picked one up the other day, looks like a very effective setup.

Picked this up at the 'yard off a late '80's/early 90's Nissan. On the firewall to the left of the brake booster. Easy to see and access.
