Not really...that's the problem. You can do the ranger roller swap, but only if the stocker is junk. If not...its Bo-port time.

You can keep your eyes open for a good used Motorsport A-237 cam.
One just sold on TF for $150.
I know Bo's cams ain't cheap, but they are worth the $.

What do you think about the A-237 vs a Bo Port cam performance-wise??

A237 was not designed to be a turbo cam. Boport cams are. Enough said.

Just spitballin' here, but I would say it might compare to the Boport 1.5 cam.
Cam selection is very dependent on what you want your car to do. I'm very happy with my stg 3 and have actually considered the stg 4 hocked: , but would prolly need a better intake manifold setup to feed it.

After the heads, the cam is the second most important part of the engine to make power. This is assuming you have ignition and fuel deliver figured out...which isnt easy with a stock turbo EEC4 puter.

What's it take to convert the stock 'puter to MAF and make it feed big mods like cam and heads?

MAF really doesnt work well for the turbo 1983-1988 computers. There is some really good speed density setups for our cars.

Also a wideband O2 is a must.
