Have you checked the pinion angle? It may have changed when you put the new control arms on. Always a good idea to put the adjustable ones on top. If the pinion angle is off, it could be putting a bind on your universal joints.
I put lowering springs and adjustable control arms. So I should check the pinion angle. What type of shop knows how to repair/check this?

I don't know if the Tbirds have counter weights on the drive shaft or not but my Mustang did. I've had those little counter weights come loose before. Actually my mechanic broke one off while changing my U-joint.
How much did you lower the car?
I think hot rod shops that tub rear ends can test your pinion angle. Or atleast they can counter balance the drive shaft. Because alot of the time they have to shorten the drive shaft.
Quick question RDOG. What kind of radiator fan do you have? Looks nice!

The rear pinion angle should be at about -2 degrees when at rest and loaded. This should give you a 0 degree when the drive train is under load. You can check this yourself easily enough. Get an angle finder from sears. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605...6799588640
When the car has the suspension loaded, simply put the magnetic protractor on the front of the pinion and this will tell you if the angle is correct or not. With adustable uppers, you can easily make the necessary corrections.
