chasing oil leak

I know its going to be hard for you guys to help diagnose an oil leak when you cant actually see the car. but i have an oil leak thats about a quart give or take a week. its on the driver side of the car on the firewall side of the intake there is oil as high as the fuel rail and then all the way down the bay is soaked. i also have a slight brake leak and i know the brake system is right in that area but the liquid really seems to be oil. so is there any areas that are prone to leaking that i should check. ive been chasing this leak for a while now and would love to pull out of my driveway with no black stains or cat litter under my car. thanks for the help.

Sounds possible that's it's coming from the dipstick tube. It's in the right area at least. And with that much oil... Have you noticed that the dipstick has come out at all? Check your PCV Valve.

Check the oil pressure sending unit and check to crack in the oil supply line to the turbo under the sending unit

i had a very similar leak for 4 years.. it was just always covered.. about a quart a month. i swore t was rear main seal.. but on Monday i got worse. lost 2 quarts in 30mins.
at that left rear corner of the engine is the oil feed lien to the turbo. i could see it dripping of it. i replaced this line and no oil leaks at all.. i cant see the crack in the line it self. but my driveway is loving it. i used to leak a 4in round puddle every night.. now its clean.
it easiest to change this like if you take the upper manifold off and the fuel rail.

clean off the engine using a degreaser and pressure washer and run it and see where it starts from.
clean it and run it an hour (run some errands or go fro a cruise) and check back and see it you notice it leaking.

Gentlemen the turbo feed line is stainless and has a nasty habit of cracking at the 45* inverted flair face. I have found many that did this. Always check the face of the inverted flair for cracks. They rarely crack on the long sides. Thank you
