Thought I'd post this to see if any NC or SC Bird/Cat people would like to join me at the Charlotte Auto Fair this coming April 2014. I will be there in my freshly restored '88 Turbo Coupe, and would love to have some more Birds or Cats come out and join the fun.

It's an awesome show, with loads of old classics to see, and some of the best food you can find anywhere. The people are really friendly, and you might just find yourself leaving with a few new car guy friends/business contacts, as well as a pile of cheap NOS parts from all the sellers.

Hope some of you can come out and experience one of the best car shows on the east coast. I'll be out there early, all day, for the entire 3 days regardless, representing for Fox T-Birds everywhere. If nothing else I'll get some pics of the show for you all to check out.

I'm not sure how my work schedule will be, but if all goes well, I'll bring my bird out. Not show worthy but overall decent bird. I'd sure like to meet some other tc owners just to talk about these awesome cars.

Cool, come on out if you get the chance, would love to talk TC's with another TC owner, I don't know of any around here. Haven't even seen another TC around in forever. I'll still be out there showing off my TurBird, rain or shine. Have a few people coming from other forums as well. Can't wait til spring, all this cold and nothing car related going on anywhere is depressing, lol. Only 3 months and 2 days left though!

I'm up in Virginia in between wytheville and Roanoke, so I'm about 2-3 hours away depending on traffic.
I've always liked the tc's but never thought I'd have a chance to see one, then one day when I wasn't looking I had the opportunity to do some trading for one and here I am. Now, just the other day I saw someone with another tc in their driveway, just a few miles from me. When I get a chance I might stop by and see how long they have had it and just start up a conversation if they are willing.

Only 1 month, 3 weeks, and 2 days left til CAF!

I cannot wait to get out there and show off my bird after all the hard work I have done. I have a couple of show quality mini-truck rangers, from our local ranger club here, as well as a few other forum people from different car/truck forums, that are coming with me. But, unless ^Scott Mabe comes, it looks like I'm gonna be the only Bird out there representing this year, according to the current show registration list. Will probably end up getting a lot of attention as a result though. No one ever knows what this car is, especially since the bird emblems are shaved on mine.

I wasn't sure about showing my bird because it just isn't show quality right now. The body is straight and overall good condition besides some missing clearcoat. But if there is only going to be one other bird there I might have to show it just so we have a bigger turbo coupe presence.

Where are you going to be showing your bird turbird77 and how do you register? I was looking at the website and only found where to register for the aaca car show, but it mentioned there would be others on show as well.

How did this turn out? I went with the TCCoA group with my '94 when we had a showing every time. Had our own club section, but it hasn't been put together for a few years, now. I went a couple more times after that ended, but haven't been in a couple of years.
