Are they any good? Any personal experience

i use them on my vehicles. a 98 navigator and a had them on a 93 mark8. they work great and no more brake dust on the rims. i wont use stock replacements again.
88tc (sold) but keeping an eye out.

Have them on my truck. They seem alright. Little noisey, may just be a poor install.

Porche uses ceramic brakes...they don't get as hot and have allmost no heat fade, because the ceramic disapates the heat real fast. My dads 99 impalla has ceramic pads. Seems that ceramic is the best pad available.

the c3ermaic pads are a softer material and dispate heat better, but on the down side wear more often then standard pads. almost 90% of import cars use them now and some domestic use them. i been using them on customers cars for years with littel to no combacks due to squealling.
are they even aviable for our cars? i usually cant find them as i only chnaqged pads on any my cars 3 times and havnt found them. i have apllication enginnered napa pads on mine right now whicxh is napaps top brand for the TC

Thanks to all for the info. I'm going to have to redo the TC before too long and am looking at options. Brake dust is not a real problem with the low miles and chrome wheels on the TC.
Brake dust is a real big problem on my 04 Escape and the wifes 03 Exploder. I may just go to the eramics on the Escape early because of the mount of visible dust it generates

Just a suggestion: EBC "Green Stuff" kevlar pads. Quiet, no dust, stop real good; again they wear more, and they cost a lot more, but JR endorses them. [Image: biggrin.gif]

I also Agree with Joe. That whats on all 4 corners of the red car. What a difference they make. Also the bigger calipers also helped from the Lincoln LSC. You can price them at the Tire Rack & SP Motorsports.
