Well I finally went to the track on the juice. I was really scared my stock clutch would slip so I didnt do a burnout. I eased it out at 4000 rpm then hit it. Everything was good till the top of 3rd and all of fourth where the clutch was slipping really bad and I heard alot of detonation. I think I have too much timing in it. (12 spout out) On a 70 shot!! I did have the switch set to regular but I guess it didnt take out enough timing. Next time I will have a new clutch, 8 degrees timing, and hopefully a much better 60 foot and timeslip! http://natomessageboard.com/uploads/0000...lip004.jpg I am car 125... 417 was a diesel truck.
1987 TC 5 speed. To date: AGP 50 trim T3/T4 .63 stage 2 turbo, Ebay bov, 28psi, 255hp pump, Kirban FPR, Ebay Front mount, Full 3 inch Exhaust, Ported Bob's Log, Megasquirt, 55lb. injectors, boport 1.5 cam, boxed lower control arms, Methanol Kit, Ram HD Clutch, front lowered 1/2 inch and E.T. Streets for the track. Best so far 12.5 at 110.8. still tuning.

Head Mods: Stock iron
Camshaft: Stock
Valve Size: Stock
Intake Mods: Cone Filter in Fender
Turbo Type: Ebay 44 Trim .63 exhaust side.
Intercooler: 1989 Supra front mount
Boost PSI: 20
Exhaust Mods: Ported E6 3" Turbo back & high flow cat
Injector Size: Stock
ECM Type: Stock
Miscellaneous: Ebay bypass Valve, 255hp pump, Kirban regulator set to 39psi, 70 shot nitrous, boxed lower control arms, ET streets, timing at 12(lots of ping) clutch slipped in 4th bad. Full weight, full interior.

Sounds like you might break 12's once you get your clutch and timing lined out. Great run!

1988 TC 5m 3" elbow back exhaust(with cat and muffler), Walbro 255, gillis mbc, airbox removed w/ K&N cone, A/C removed, Spec clutch, Ranger roller swap.

I will update the top 25 by Sunday. Get a clutch in that thing. Heck you have high 12's just with the power you made now. Anyways....congrats.

Was the diesel truck the Quad Cab Ram with dual 6" stacks.
Was down there Fri. Didn't run the bird, clutch is getting really bad. They were doing 1/8 mile due to wetness, so it kinda sucked (my brain doesn't compute 1/8 mile time/trap)

Almost positive it was that truck. Is the one your talking about black? If so that was definately it. Dont waste your time with the 3.73 gears. I heard from a few that it did nothing to their 1/4 mile E.T. or MPH in our cars. Sell it to a mustang guy and use the money for more mods!

ever think about going to englishtown? I will be running my car sometime in late to mid october. Almost done with a few modifications and hoping for the stars. If there was more than one bird it would be fun.
