ok well about a week ago I was going down the road and the car just shut off on me like it did about 3 months back, so I preety much knew it was the same problem as before when the distributor went bad. So I replaced the distributor and the car runs fine, for some reason it was also causing my detonation problems which are now gone. My question is what would cause distributors to keep going bad in my car. This is the 3rd distributor I've put in the car in 3 months, and I wanna know whats up. On another note my car runs fine when started but after about 2 min. of driving it starts to buck and jerk and idle bad for about 5 min, then after 5 min the car runs fine and will continue to run fine for the rest of the day. Are these problems related?
