How cheap?

You can get it through Rock Auto. There are a couple different price points in their selection, but I don't remember how much they are.

ACC (Auto Custom Carpet) has great carpet, but it's definitely not cheap.

^ I gotta recommend Stock Interiors as well. I've used their molded carpet on several of my projects, and it always has been very close to OE fitment. Gonna replace the carpet in the TC soon with one of their pieces, as I'm changing the interior color to black.

My carpet was fine until I decided to get mad and rip it out. I looked at stock carpet and they look good and there not to much $$

Really cheap- JY if you can find some gently used from grandmas V6.
There maybe sales coming soon because of the holiday season. Look at ebay and all the sites for the best deal..
A warning, when I got new carpet for my mustang, they offered a sound deadening backing which is like they dipped the bottom of the carpet in rubber. I decided to get it. When the carpet came, it looked like they applied the rubber like material, folded the carpet up while wet, and threw it in the box to ship. The carpet would not fit well and to this day there are creases in the carpet from the backing material that makes it fit poorly. I would not recommend it.

isn't the backing extra money most of the time and does it make a difference?

it was free during a Christmas special. It is pretty nice for sound deadening, as long as it isn't formed wrong. I have a crease right near the gas pedal area. I should of returned it, but at the time the car had no carpet. I just wanted to install the interior and be done.

I have a black carpet from an 87 that is in good shape. I think it also has the backing. It is in my garage attic, so I would need to go check it. I kept it because it was in such good shape. I will sell it for $50 + shipping.
