The Days Inn is all booked for Carlisle weekend. Is there anyone going who is not staying at the Days Inn?

If so, where are you staying at?

Thanks,

There are three additional hotels on the same side of town as the Days Inn. You'll have to get on the internet and look up the phone numbers.
Sleep Inn Carlisle
5 East Garland Drive
(717) 249-8863
Carlisle Super 8 Motel
100 Alexander Spring Road
(717) 245-9898
Comfort Suites Carlisle
10 South Hanover Street
(717) 960-1000
Everything else is on the other side of town or more commonly known as Harrisburg Pike. I can give you the addresses but you'll have to look up the phone numbers and just start calling.
Best Western Carlisle
1245 Harrisburg Pike
(717) 243-5411
Quality Inn Carlisle
1255 Harrisburg Pike
(717) 243-6000
Rodeway Inn Carlisle
1239 Harrisburg Pike
(717) 249-2800
Holiday Inn Carlisle
1450 Harrisburg Pike
(717) 245-2400
Clarion Hotel
1700 Harrisburg Pike
(717) 243-1717
Hampton Inn Carlisle
1164 Harrisburg Pike
(717) 240-0200
Econo Lodge Carlisle
1460 Harrisburg Pike
(717) 249-7775
Appalachian Motor Inn Carlisle
1825 Harrisburg Pike
Motel 6 Carlisle
1153 Harrisburg Pike
Carlisle Super 8 Motel
1800 Harrisburg Pike

If you find a room on Harrisburg Pike plan on leaving your motel room early because traffic is a pain getting to the fairgrounds. Sorry I don't have all the phone numbers for these.
Good Luck!

Camping doesn't sound like a bad idea. Where do we camp, on the fair grounds? Do we have to pay in advance?

It's in the sticky at the top of the page, but I will reiterate. Camping is on the grounds, you need to call the contact number on the website ahead of time (after preregistering, if doing so) and make a reservation. You get a 10'x30' campsite with showers and all that nearby. I don't think you actually pay ahead though, just make a reservation. I would imagine camping isn't all that popular though, but I don't know. I think maybe Greg O'Brien camped out before? Can't remember who exactly told me that...

I just reserverd a room at the Days Inn. I thought they were all sold out but they weren't. I asked them how many rooms are left and they said they only have have 2 rooms (non-smoking with 2 double beds) left in the NATO block. Price per night is $110.50 + Tax per night. I can't wait to go. I am really looking forward to a good time. Gary you will be getting the pre-reg form in the mail soon. 2 rooms left guys they're almost all gone!

Gary,

There are 2 rooms left not 1. I asked if there were any rooms left after I booked my room. The 2 rooms that are left are for checking in on June 2nd and checking out on June 4th. $110.50 + Tax per night. Let's fill up these rooms!
