The following are some quotes from the motels in the Carlisle area in relation to booking rooms for the 2004 All Ford Show at Carlisle. I still have a few I haven't heard from yet but the response to my letters this time was a whole lot better than last.

Motel 6
No quote of price.......only sent a reservation request for 1 room

Howard Johnson Inn (formerly Best Wetsern)
Rates for reserving more than 10 rooms
2 double beds...$105.99 +tax per night
1 king bed......$101.90 +tax per night
1 double bed....$ 90.00 +tax per night

Sleep Inn
block of 12 rooms available
$92.00 +tax per night

Comfort Suites
$125.00 +tax per night

Clarion
$124.95 per night

Hampton Inn
$109.00 per night

Holiday Inn
$125.00 per night

Quality Inn
$108.90 per night

As you can see, most are falling in that $95.00 to $110.00 per night per room range. Obviously this is a litle steep and I am sure that they are inflated due to the car show. However, that is what we have to deal with. Almost all made the comment that they fill up fast. I need to know your thoughts and comments on this ([email protected]). I would like to book a block early and not have to worry about it in February. My normal block is 10 to 12 rooms.

Good planning. I'm going to be there next year.

But I'll just crash at my grandparent's again.
