Carlisle Hotel Rooms

I have had some inquiries regarding the availability of hotel rooms in Carlisle for the 2007 All Ford Nationals. For the last few years, "NATO Central" has been the Days Inn on Alexander Spring Road. We chose this site because of the ease of getting to the Fairgrounds and because they have provided us the opportunity to reserve a block of rooms. For 2007, we once again have reserved a block of rooms at the Days Inn. Here is the information you need in order to reserve a room:
1. We have 20 rooms reserved;
2. The cutoff date for reserving a room is April 30, 2007;
3. The prices per room are the following (doesn't include taxes) :
Standard Room - $111.00
Queen Beds - $116.00
King Beds - $121.00
4. All rooms are reserved from May 31 through June 3;
5. In order to reserve a room, you have to call the Days Inn direct ((717) 258-4147 and ask for the block of rooms reserved under the NATO name; give them your arrival date and departure date and tell them what type of room you want to reserve; put the reserved room under your name.
6. Hotel rooms in and around Carlisle fill up fast (a lot of clubs and individuals reserve their rooms a year in advance);
7. When these rooms are gone I won't be able to reserve any more rooms so it's first come - first served.

Thanks Gary for posting this infomation. I booked my room last year when I left the show, but I think you got a better rate this year than what I'm booked last June.

I would have posted this sooner but I was waiting for confirmation from the Days Inn in Carlisle about any price adjustments and so forth. Come to find out, it did go up a dollar over last year.

I told them to NOT cancel my room without the confirmation number being provided. I will still call them early May to be sure my room is still reserved.

Good Point. I was one of the individuals that had his room canceled last year, much to my surprise and yes, they can cancel a room without a confirmation number......it happened to me. I already checked once this year on mine.
