Is the grouping of TCs at Carlisle something NATO had input to? Reason I ask why are 88s separate and 83 - 87s together? Seems to me the 87 & 88s should be grouped together since they are more alike than an 87 and 83 - 86s. I never get to mix it up with you 88s. Was thinking about registering as an 88 Smile !

Fred,
The grouping as you described is because Carlisle needs classes of a minimum size to make the presentation of trophy's worth while. There are just so many 88s compared to all other years that they have to group them as 83 through 87 and then 88s by themselves. We have have tried to get this changed for a few years but it's economics. Gary S can probably elaborate on this issue more fully.

Fred,
Pete hit it pretty much on the head. We have raised the question in the past and they told us it has to do with numbers. There are usually a lot more 88's than 83 - 87's registered so they came up with that grouping.
