Carlisle and why you should go

Reasons:

1. Most likely the only place you will see more than 20 TC's at once.

2. You get to meet Dan S.

3. You can talk to Pete D in person and will realize he doesn't have a search function and his archives are slowly leaving him. Just smile and act like you are listening. He will tell the same story all weekend.

4. You get to meet Dan S.

5. You will get to see under the hood of Jeff K's car. Don't ask any questions though as he will lose everyone in techicalities within 3 seconds.

6. You get to meet Dan S, again!

7. You can experience welders flash when Gary S opens his hood in the sunlight. You can see him cringe and his wife glare when you ask what gets chromed next.

8. You'll probably meet Dan S again. He's getting senile and won't remember the first 3 times. Make bets with him as he always loses and ends up buying breakfast and luch a lot.

9. Garnet is supposedly coming this year so you will hear "eh" about 5000 times.

10. You can decide for yourself if Dan S does really look like Abe Simpson(Homer's father).
NO TC and NO headaches.

You had me at "most Likely". But really, I'm going to try to make it out this year to meet everyone that I've learned from.I look forward to seeing some TC's to get my motivation back in gear to building mine.Too much going on in the last year and now I finally have time to work on the car! Just need some motivation and there is probably no better place to find it! [Image: smile.gif]

I'll admit my car isn't running right now either and I plan to go also. I have a 40 minute drive. [Image: tongue.gif]

Great list Glenn! Echoing Glenn's thoughts though, I would encourage everyone who can make it to do so.

At the obvious risk of seeming ignorant, who is Dan S.?

1986 TC, 132k pretty well taken care of miles. k&n, gillis@16, timing @ 12 (spout out), A/C delete. 3" Downpipe (no other exhaust... Whoever described that sound as a "pissed off tractor" hit the nail on the head)

I just put my finger thru a big hole in my driver's front fender today-

And I'll be there (hopefully by then the windows will go up and down without assistance)...
