Well folks, it's over for another year. A good time was had by all and everyone is now headed home. Gary Schweikert (Gary S) [Image: biggrin.gif] and Ron Baysinger (Turbojet) [Image: biggrin.gif] took home trophys for their outstanding Turbo Coupes. Nate Killmon (Nate K) received a well deserved 2005 Golden Turbo Award. [Image: biggrin.gif] Nate K also won a trophy from Family Ford for his entry in their show Friday evening. [Image: biggrin.gif]
There is one unhappy person [Image: frown.gif] until they read this post. If that unhappy person would identify the digital camera they left on the table, I'll make them smile, by sending it back to them.
That's the early report from the field with film to follow, as soon as our ace recorder Nate K gets them posted. [Image: biggrin.gif]

Well, we made it home safe and sound. We had a really great time. Actually, I think this year was by far the best yet, due largely to the great time had by all whle hanging out under the tent and especially with the picnic that was made possible with the wonderful effort made by everyone who helped organize and prepare. Despite the bad weather that kicked off the show, we had a great turnout... the most cars to date. What was the actual number, mid 30's? I'm already looking forward to next year... just glad it's 361 days away though! LOL
To everyone that showed up (with their car or on foot) I'd personally like to say THANK YOU for helping make this a great showing for the NATO club. I'd also like to thank anyone and everyone that had a part (big or small) in helping with the picnic, merchandise sales, whatever that went on under the tent.
Last but not least, on behalf of everyone at NATO, I would like to give a special THANK YOU to Dan and Diane Sheehan for all they did for NATO this weekend between the cookout, breakfast, dinner, hauling, shuttle service, etc. You two are absolutely wonderful.
PS... ANYONE that has pictures from the show, please email them to me or put them on disk or CD ant mail them to me. I will be putting together a CARLISLE 2005 Picture Page this week or next. Send any show pics, not just of TC's. I have a section devoted to TC's and one for the others.

Congrats to all the winners this year - Nate, Gary & Ron on your outstanding Cars & especially Nate - The Golden Turbo Winner. These guys were acknowledged for there hard work, but we all are winnerswhen it comes to NATO & having fun in Carlisle.
Gary, sounds like its time to start planning for next year. [Image: biggrin.gif]

What a great weekend. Can't wait till next year. The number of TC's attending grows every year. Very nice to see some new faces too. Let's shoot for over 40 cars next year.
I think Tony got the deal of the century at the swap meet.
NO TC and NO headaches.
