car wont start.

I've been having a similar situation occur. It sounds like it might be a harness, fuel pump connector or intermittent fuel pump glich. Sometimes my fuel pump will go through the prime cycle and run normally and sometimes it won't do either. When it doesn't start/run it appears to be my fuel pump that's the problem but then if I wait (no specific amount of time) it will start right up and appear to be just fine. If it's a short at the connector, which I think is my problem your method of moving the car may remedy this problem, but I don't know that for a fact.
