The low mileage '87 TC I bought a couple months ago doesn't sit level. The drivers side is several inches lower than the passenger side on both the front and back. I have been under it several times looking for anything broken or wore out and nothing obvious sticks out to me, yet.

It is all factory components with no suspension modifications at all. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to chime in.

Thanks in advance for your help. Big Grin

It seems to be a common problem, if you do a search, you'll see a lot of post about it. When I got mine last August, it was about 1"-1.5" lower on the drivers side.
Tracked most of my problem down to the sway bar, bad bushings and end links. Be sure to tighten up both end links evenly and to the specified torque. That took out all but about 1/4"-1/2" of the lean. Weak springs and worn out isolators also seem to be a common cause, I hope to take out some more of the lean when I put the new springs in soon.

P.S. make sure the sway bar isn't warped or bent.

Think I finally found the problem....

Both of the green ones came off the same car. Sadly the long one is what I believe came from the factory. At least the other TC sitting here has the longer one in it too.......

That is the front sway links right? and What brand did you get? i did the frame mounts on mine already. I was thinking you were talking about the rear stabalizer bar aka rear sway bar.. My car seems to sit lower only on the rear drivers side. I cant stand it! im ready to fix it ASAP! please help it looks very stupid!

Those sway bar links are for the front, the rear bar bolts directly so there is no links on the rear. The new links are from Energy Suspension .

I am going to do the rear stock replacement springs for now considering they are only 30 bucks(thanks to being a parts person) and I am doing the sway links today. I will let you know if that solves my left side lean or not. Im sure it will help if not completely. I would imagine if its not perfectly level its because the front springs are worn out too.

I replaced my rear springs and it didn't level up at all, it did however raise both rear sides about 3/4 of an inch.

Ok so i did the rear springs and put the HD Moog sway links in. It did clear up i would say about 80 to 90 percent of the driver side lean. Has to be the front spring driver side and all of the bushings being worn out. Being said my car is older than me so all of the suspension components need, and will be replaced. Im halfway satisfied condering it brought the rear up about 3/4 to an 1 inch. Still the front sits higher and it annoys the hell out of me!
