hey i have a 88 turbo coupe it has a bad miss when floored and only under boost pulled codes they are 28,41,42,63,72 when key was on but motor was not running, then with motor running got codes 25,28,34,74 just put new o2 senser new ford plugs and wire in it? it has a mbc on it.

Well first off how much boost are you running? Second check the timing http://www.turbotbird.com/techinfo/CamTi...t%20Up.htm then from there make sure the TPS is set to its correct voltage

Also since ur doing the tps u might want to clean the IAC. Try those

I would suggest you erase the CM codes, drive it and see what comes back for the 2 phases of the KOEO code check.

If it starts missing at the same boost level every time then you could have a boost leak opening up at that boost level. Check all hoses and connection including taking the IC hoses off a squeezing them to open up any cracks. Make sure they also get reinstalled correctly and are properly clamped. It's easy to roll the lip of the lower hose in on itself and that will leak under boost.

You could also be running out of fuel. Run the fuel system diagnostics to see if everything is up to snuff, http://www.turbotbird.com/techinfo/Fuel_...ostics.htm

What type of plugs and wires did you put in it. Did you regap the plugs down to 0.035" or slightly less?

cleared codes same codes came back check tbs its good and set at .98 motocraft plug and wires set at 0.034 its gets starts a 5 pounds of boost and only gets to 10 lbs boost is there a nother way to check for a boost leak? cleaned AIC check timing with spout out its at 10*

now it has a miss at idle and no code 72,41,42 but got code 77

ok i have one code now it is 14 and my fuel pump is tost only 30 psi and when in boost only 20 psi of fuel.

just put ne fuel pump 255 but now it runs messed up and my codes are now 28 42 and i just put a new tbs in in so there should not be a code 28 plz help
