Car Covers

Looking for input on a quality car cover for the cars here. All my cars sit under car ports or garage, but at times of the day the sun has an angle that still hits the cars in the carports. Additionally I get a lot of water spray or dust when the wind gets up.

So... anyone have any experience with car covers?

Kevin, I tried "car cover" and got 15 pages of anything with "car" or "cover" in it. So I tried "cover" and still got 15 pages. The I remembered that "Cover Craft" was one of the brand names mentioned in the previous post(s) so I searched on that and it only gave me less than a page of listings. The other trick is if I can remember a key word and who said it, I put both the word and the screen name of the person in the search boxes and it usually cuts out a lot of the unrelated threads.

if you do a search for "car cover" but only search in the title the answers your looking for come up.

I use car covers quite a bit. I've had great luck with Evolution/Technalon and NOAH car covers.

I had a Wolf for my mustang. Good cover but tore very easy around the mirrors.

Sorry, I meant to post on this thread and actually posted on the thread Pete brought up. I hate to admit I actually use computers for a living. LOL.

This is where we buy all of our car covers:

http://www.calcarcover.com/?gclid=CNDTn5...sgodyEuktQ

Are they good? Yes.
Are they expensive? Yes.
Are they worth the price? That is up to you.

I think they are worth it because they offer many options depending on your intended use, their covers fit beautifully and their quality is great. I am getting ready to buy another one for my wife's car. I can't vouch for their outdoor covers, but their indoor covers are awesome.

Another valuable search tip - enclose your search string in quotes (like "car cover") and only entries with both will come up; the search engine will ignore just "car" and just "cover".
