These were pics from burnout contest in sept. Can't really see in pic but i had "Oh no it's a four banger" on the rear glass. I was the only four cyl in the burn out. I love hearing people say "A four cyl can"t do burn outs". OH YA!
I'd rather burnout than fade away!

Sorry about the big ass pics.. I'm still learning how to do this posting stuff.

Glad my Angels have a turbo!

Tank, do you have some sort of trans-brake or what? That's not the first pic I've seen of your car doing a massive burn out. I was just curious. Auto or manual?

Tank, everytime you send in pics I'm more impressed what our cars can do...especially our poor, stepchild automatics! And don't worry about picture size, the bigger the better. (Is that something your wife tells you?) [Image: biggrin.gif]

Keep 'em coming.

The "dog leash" is there to let me know when my 20 sec is up. A little tug and I shut er down.

20 seconds is all they allow? This past summer I was at a stock car race and they had a burnout contest and there was no time limit. It more or less was a nerve or equipment limit. One guy had a beater of an S-10 pickup that did a burnout for several minutes. You couldn't even see the truck after a while. I couldn't believe that he didn't toast anything. Another guy with a real cherry late 60's Camaro was doing a great job until he shredded a tire. 20 seconds is probably all I would dare because I hate to have to spend hours fixing broken stuff. Nice car by the way...looks just like mine.

The reason i was told they only go for 20 sec is because it is puplic property and long, long burnouts do damage to the ashfault and when you have 60 cars or so it would take forever. Thanks for the compliment.
