Can't pass Ohio Echeck

I haven't put 200 miles on the car since the last echeck, but it did not this time. This is what the report say's.
HC reading is 160.5 ppm Should be 157.0 ppm or less.
CO reading is 4.09% and should be 1.0% or less.
Would bad gas cause this? The car runs great.
I think the results are saying it's running rich. What changes to the mods should I make?

Whats the timing at? i hate ohio echeck!!! i know my sister gave me her 85 xr cougar and it didnt pass and i put in this stuff from autozone (dont know the name) but it passed.says guranteed to pass echeck and it did.

I just finished setting the timing from 12 to 10 and readjusted the TPS. I wouldn't think 12 degrees would make it fail.

I don't do anything to mine and they pass??
Fresh oil is suppose to help. If the gas is old, that might make a difference, I don't know. The only thing I do is drive them for 20 to 30 minutes before I go in. You can try cutting the timing to 6-8*

Have you run the codes?

If the gas is real old, that could cause it to fail.
