Can my TC engine fit this?

What the topic says.. And is it worth it? I'm sure I could find a hood, my engine works, and I have a T-5 I could put in it AND I have a built A4LD that could go in it (the A4LD is sketchy though) but I need a daily driver asap. I just can't have a slow car! And I'm a huge TC fan.

Would this be worth the money since it is a t-top? If the body is straight and dentless, that is. I'm gonna go look at it this weekend.

edit: helps if I put a link in..

You will love driving it. Its a fairly easy swap. I just did it with my 93 coupe and with a stock motor, Im getting high 14s at the track. If you allready have the hydraulic clutch from a TC, I reccomend using it. MUCH easier in traffic.

Did you contact the owners yet? Did it have a 5.0 or 2.3? If it was a 2.3, it was turbo and pretty rare. The GT350's themselves only saw somwhere around 5,200 units produced with only 362 2.3T hatchbacks. I'd say if everything else is good on it it'd be worth it. Check out this site for more info: www.gt350mustang.com

Enjoy!

Reads like the T-tops are missing. Can you still get a pair? I don't think the heater works well enough to compensate. [Image: wink.gif]

Electrically, the GT350's are almost identical to the 83-86 TCs, and it's a fairly straightforward swap. What year is your Bird motor? Definitely use the T5.

Did you hear about the Lucas powered torpedo? It sank.
