I posted awhile back about this. I put cobra rims in the bird while it was lowered the po cut the springs some and the front ties would rub on the fenders when i hit bumps well now i want the lowered look back but with good over all handling and ride. I am gonna drag race on the weekend and stomp cars on the street. So basically wat I'm looking for is a decent ride good handling and will hook when i want to race.. Wat r some cheap options i can put together. I hard sn95 springs our struts r good and lower the car some but i want to stay in a reasonable price range...

O i was wondering wat i could use to camber the front wheels to miss the fender and wat suspension combo to use to lower the car while still giving it strong handling and a decent ride

Camber has serious influence on handling and tire wear. It would not be a good thing to use just to improve looks and make things fit inside the fenders. I hearty encourage the development of a plan B.

Roll the inner fenders, install adjustable caster/camber plates, drop tire size if needed, adjust to preference, and live with it- you will eat tires Smile

None of which will really have any impact on your straight-line performance goals, which would be better off with the stock rims/tires due to less rolling resistance...

My 18" wheels and tires don't hit the fenders... if it's low enough to hit 17" cobra R's either your offset is off, or your running to much tire, or it's way too low. That or buy some 40 or 35 series tires to buy yourself some room and gain some gearing for the drag strip. Caster/camber set correctly for the street or in race form dramatically increases the "strong handling and a decent ride" your looking for.
