dont know what the codes were but apperently two were for the tps which is brand new and one was for the pip which is brand new

PIP is not allways a bad pip. What about the wires and the plugs, they have been known to flash a code 14(?). Also the TPS code could be stored and not cleared. Clear the codes and see if it comes back. Could be O2 as mentioned or the TFI...HTH

y does my car have a burnt smell also after i drive it for a little while not really too far the farthest ive taken it is about 10 miles and that was pushing it, im talkin like a mile or two i dont know exactly what it smells like but its a burnt smell of some sort, and my brother followed me the other day and he said it smelled like sulfur

The sulfur smell is probably the cat convertor. Is your cat clogged? You said it runs good when cold but goes to hell after it warms up, so you might need to look at the exhaust.

The codes may have been Continous Memory codes for that were not erased after the new parts were installed. It would be nice to know that for sure.

I agree with Keith that the sulfer smell could be the converter. That could explain a loss of power.
I'm not sure that that would account for deteriorated perfomance when warm. That could be an ECT sensor and they don't always throw a code when bad.

Easiest way to check the cat? Someone else needs to chime in on this. I believe a temperature scanner will indicate if it's plugged. Your looking for a temperature drop across the cat. The other test would be an emissions test. I've had 2 cats replaced under warranty on other cars. The only problem I had was the foul smell.

it was tested at two dif. places so there wouldnt be codes in the scanner, and how did u have two cats replaced under warranty?

i discon. the o2 sens. and it still misses but it doesnt seem to be as bad hows that work
