.....cam cam cam.
OK, i a lil worked up, just laid my fiurst patch of rubber (BY ACCDIDENT!)
Ok i wanna put my camshaft from my other head i have laying around, its a bgger cam, street/strip cam has lots of low end power and suffenct til about 6500rpm, hten drops dead right before rev limiter.
What is the process of doing this?
pete said i had to jack up part of the motor top get the one out of the car.
But how does it come out, i noticed the #3 screws in the back of the hea holding the cam in. I always sent the head out to get the cam repalced, but my shop closed down cuz the guy was offered a job at Ford in detriot. So my warranty is up and ic an geta 20 cam swapp anymore.
So anyoen have the step by stpe process?
tips, tricks, etc etc

Loosen the motor mount bolts and raise the engine 1/2 to 1". Remove the upper intake and valve cover. You will have to remove the cam followers and remove the screws and cam retainer at the back of the head. Very carfully slide the cam toward the front of the car. Don't nick the cam bearings. Assembly is the reverse of the above
