whats the difference between the stock cam and the ranger? more hp,output, or what? please explain.

The stock cam is a slider type cam and has around .390 lift.

The ranger is a roller type cam. It has around .355 lift. Being a roller it will last a very long time. Being a low lift cam it has good low and mid range power.

it's like any cam with these engines. if you advance it, you get more bottom end. if you retard it you get more top end. straight up, the cam seems to pull to 5,500. in my car it ran great! i kinda like it better then the A237 cam.
