Zbird an I talked about this idea last year, so I'm just putting this out to see if there is any interest. If we could get 6 to 8 Texas TC owners to commit, it would be fun to have a Texas meet this Spring. I would suggest it happen before the hot weather, which means no later than April and at some location where no one would have to drive over 500 miles round trip to get there. If anyone is interested, PM me with your location, how far you are willing to drive, possible dates that would work best for you and I will see if I can come up with a time a place to suggest for a Texas TC'ers meet.

Sounds good to me. Now we have enough owners to make it fun. Just let me know when and where it is most convenient.

My Vintage Tbird club is having a convention in Austin in April 12 - 15 at the Crown Plaza Hotel. I will be there so you can check it out.

Interesting. My TC has been on jackstands since October, but if my freakin' torque converter ever gets here, I'd be down for a get together.
Probably would trailer the bird, though.

Zbird, I'll be sure to come by and see you when your in Austin. I went to a few vintage Ford/T-Bird events in the area last year (as a spectator only) and talking to the T-bird guys made it clear they weren't interested in anything made after 1969-70. We TC guys are definitely the redheaded step children of the T-Bird collectors/enthusiast crowd. But I think that will change with time. Are you planing to attend any other shows in the area this year like Georgetown?

I have made them believers and the South Central director is from my club. They actually sought me out to be a member of the club and appreciate my bird. They have members with every year T-Bird including T/C and SC. If you get a chance to talk to Buddy Cox, President of Capitol City chapter, he is a great guy and knows me well, he will definitely make you feel welcome. I always tell them my bird has the smallest motor and is the fastest!! LOL. I look forward to seeing you and your T/C there. I will call you and let you know the time and place we can get together.

I'll (hopefully) be moving to Hawkins soon. If we're all straightened around by then, I'll try to attend, depending on where the gathering winds up being.
