Saw a thread like this over on TF and thought we needed one here.

Calling out SteveXX82 to see who runs a 12sec pass first. Come on Steve, my car doesn't even run yet.

Calling out Scott Ressler to see who has the most HP on the dyno. You better use your little yellow bottle.

Calling out Dan S to actually make it to Carlisle's Fri. breakfast at 07:00 and not half an hour late. Especially after talking trash on me for not wanting to get up that early. NO excuses this year!

Calling out Pete D, Dan E, rairbird, natmac3, gary s#2, and Harvs to actually get thier cars to the track this year and have some fun. You modified the car to go faster so use it.

Remember, all in good fun.

What makes you think I don't use it? How do you think I blow it up all the time? I can't even get to the track. This time I think I've got it though. The closest 1/4 mile track is about 100 miles away and I will be going there on May 08. Hopefully I will have the GN intercooler hooked up and have played with the EEC-tuner a bit. If it doesn't blow up before then, I will get it to the track and have some #s for you.

As soon as it stops raining on EVERY night the track is open, you're on. I bet you'll still beat me to 11's, though [Image: wink.gif]

Probably won't get to really "use it" till closer to the end of the summer, but at least things'll be starting to cool off a bit and the engine'll breathe better than 120* heat...

My list (in order):

46#ers are here and begging to go on.
So is the new fuel pump.
The turbo has BEEN waiting and still won't get the head it needs before being installed. (y'all know what I mean dagnabbit)
Downpipe re-modded to work with new turbo.
Solenoid for IC-Sprayer.
Maybe the 65mm TB.

Then Maybe a little test and tune...
And possibly a Tuner or Tweecer somewhere in between...

I can't wait till it all starts falling together (and hopefully NOT falling apart) [Image: biggrin.gif]

If it keeps raining like this maybe I'll have a shot at the 12's also. Hopefully not too far away from racing now.

It's not like that turbo can't put out some serious boost pressure to overcome the stock head. Better head flow never hurts performance though. Well maybe if you're still running the ihi. You'll have to trust me on that one.

Yeah. Call out to oldraven to actualy get the TC working seamlessly this summer. [Image: tongue.gif] Or even get started on that engine. It's not looking to good though, since I took it off the engine stand last night to start working on the truck's new motor.

Yeah, I'd like to call out myself to get my behind in gear so I can have the TC painted and running for Carlisle. Bad body panels are already removed, bird's covered in plastic sheeting until the weather and time cooperate! :-)

Oh yeah. I still need models for my car's display pic. That's a call out.
87 TC "Steven"
Current mods: 4-core radiator, 180 thermostat, K&N air assembly, manual fan controls, summertime 17' Centerline rims
Status: under re-construction

87 TC "Stephanie"
all factory options!
Status: runs well but only goes forwards...

I call out Glenn to walk across the street and not get out of breath. I always challenge your car to run a faster et than you can eat a hot dog. I know, impossible.
